Enable Recording Per Extension or Account-Wide

In Monster UI, your 9dash9 portal, navigate to Apps → Call Center or Account Settings → Call Recording. You can enable recording for individual extensions, specific call queues, or your entire account with a single toggle. Choose inbound, outbound, or both.

Calls Are Recorded Automatically in the Cloud

Once enabled, every qualifying call is recorded automatically — no action required from your team. Recordings are stored securely in the cloud on the Kazoo platform infrastructure. There’s no local storage required and no hardware to manage.

Access, Search & Download in Monster UI

Find recordings under Apps → Call Recordings in your portal. Filter by date, extension, phone number, or call direction. Listen directly in the browser, or download MP3 files for your records. Set Retention & Storage Preferences

Configure how long recordings are retained directly in your Monster UI account settings. Set automatic deletion after 30, 60, 90 days, or keep recordings indefinitely. Storage is managed at the platform level — you stay in control without managing servers or file systems.
